Which of your books do you like best?

It always was ‘Never Look Back’; I lived it while I was writing it. I loved doing the research into the early pioneers in America; I liked the characters a great deal. But when I’d finished ‘Belle’ I felt very happy with it, which is why I wrote the sequel ‘The Promise’ because I didn’t want to say goodbye to Belle. I do think now that ‘The Promise’ is the best writing I’ve done so far. I’d go so far as to say that it is my favourite now.
