My Favourite Plants

The garden can look a bit straggly by August, to overcome this I plant lots of Phlox, Asters and Japanese Anemones to give it a bit of a lift and colour. A reliable Aster which blooms for a long period is Mönch, a beautiful lavender colour. It looks gorgeous next to dark pink Phlox, and I have used them in clumps all over my garden, with tall, white Japanese Anemones behind them.
